Bayshore Town Center redevelopment plans approved

The first set of updated conceptual plans for Bayshore Town Center has been approved by the Glendale Community Development Authority. Work will begin this fall which include public art, more green space and improved pedestrian connections.
“The idea is to create ‘Glendale’s back yard,’ and encourage Bayshore patrons to stay longer for shopping, dining and other activities,” said Scott Steinkamp. “The changes include a new public plaza between Bayshore’s rotunda and the parking structure, and more landscaping between the rotunda and the main outdoor plaza.”
Apartments, offices, new retail and a possible hotel are a part of the redevelopment.
